Types of Standardized Tests for studying in the USA
GMAT: International students willing to pursue MBA in USA or study any business or management-related program are required to appear for GMAT.
The Graduate Management Admission Test is the standardized examination, and it consists of the following four sections:
1. Analytical Writing Assessment: measures your ability to think critically and your effectiveness to communicate your ideas.
2. Integrated Reasoning: this section aims at measuring your ability to analyze data and to evaluate information presented in multiple formats
3. Quantitative Reasoning: assess your ability to analyze data and draw conclusions using reasoning skills
4. Verbal Reasoning: This section measures your ability to read and understand the English language
GRE: The Graduate Record Examination is for international students willing to pursue an MA or MS course. MBA Universities in USA accept GRE scores for granting admission to management courses.
The GRE examination is of two types – GRE General test and Subject test and is offered in two formats: computer-based and paper-based.

SAT: The Scholastic Assessment Test is the standardized test that evaluates the aspirants on their writing skills required for academic success. It is a paper-based examination of 3 hours and 50 minutes of duration that has two compulsory and one optional section.
The first section that is Evidence-based reading and writing includes the subsections of reading tests, writing and language tests while the second section mathematics includes math without a calculator and math with a calculator part. Out of these, the essay is the optional part.
